He showed me his paperwork for the hire car and the one good thing about all of this is that with him being under 25, his excess is a grand. That made me smile anyway.![]()

Anyway OP, can you post some nice shots of the un-damaged side please?
Fear not, a new thread will be coming in a week or two when it's all fixed and perfect again.![]()
That's quite upsetting![]()

It's not as if all the demand for the £30k ones drops when the F10 comes out and they decide oh, I might as well spend 3 times more instead, is it![]()
being serious now, doesn't the introduction of a new shape push prices down ?
It's obviously not going to drop 50k ones down to 30k overnight or anything, but i would have thought on top of the depreciation based on age, the introduction of a new model would push them down even further ?
I'll try to keep up.
As always, I'm in.
It could push prices down a bit because the man that was going to buy an e60 M5 maybe now considers what his money might buy him in the way of a new shape, but not a lot, it also takes a while for new shape cars to come on the second hand market to deflate the old one too remember there still aint that many new ones about still.
I know diehard petrolheads aren't going to be phased, but how many idiots do you see amongst your neighbours / work mates etc.. who buy the flashiest car they can, without any knowledge or appreciation of its potential, but just buy it because its flash.
Women in particular, are terrible for this.
This sort of person is going to be put off by the fact their 30/40k is no longer buying a car that looks the same as a new one
