Hey

I do have the Vengeance ram which is quite high, however would I be able to put an aftermarket cooler in if i turn it so that the fan goes away from the ram?

Or am I going to have to go for one of the all in 1 watercooling setups?

Thanks!

Looks loads of room to me but you can get the fans dimensions & measure/check it yourself.

Edit.
Also worth noting the New cooling fan will sit higher & will "probably" clear it.

i can tell you that the zalman CNPS9900 MAX wont interfere with the ram, or at least it doesnt come close to covering my RAM, so if you really dont want an all in 1 watercooler then there are some options

If your thinking about all-in-one cooling don't go for the CoolIT - link

Go for an Antec Kuhler 620 as they are not too much more expensive and out perform the H50 and H60 whilst also being a lot quieter.

Comparison shows noise differences.

The noise it does produce is very easy to ignore as it is only a low hum and not nearly a high pitched whine.

Hmm okay cool! Would something like the Antec Kuhler 620 outperform a good air cooler?

No not really. For a similar price you can get the Silver Arrow which is one of the best air coolers around and will outperform the Antec Kuhler but I don't think it will clear your RAM.

(You can also see in the benchmark pic that the Prolimatech outperforms it as well:))

Helios1234 is selling a nice Thermolabs Baram in the MM, awesome cooler for the price, and it wont interfere with your ram ;)

Silver arrow wont clear your ram, you need something with a bit more clearance :)
