Looking for a new all in one water cooling system, Coolit or corsair etc

Anything that's gonna be quieter than my a50, its horribly loud and will fit tidily in my case..

been looking at the h50 but no sure

cheers

your case supports coolers up to 166mm in height (link). if you remove the side fan (which i assume you have done). the silver arrow is 160mm in height so it should fit just fine

i seem to remember a picture somewhere showing that on the corsair A50, the 160mm height was measured from the base to the top of the fan, whereas it was 167mm from the base to the top of the heatpipes. i'm damned if i can find it though

I've actually still got the side fan installed, like the blue led lol.
seen shots of the size of the cooler, and not sure if i fancy everything being covered by just that.

Really thinking about a new case now too lol

i take it the side fan sits beneath the CPU cooler then.

i've had a look on google image search for builds involving your case, and what cooler they use, but all i can find is pictures of strawberries and some random tribe of people.

i'd be very surprised if the silver arrow didnt fit (you may need to remove the side fan though

You won't really get better than the Silver Arrow and the only dimension that really matters is the height, which is fine in your case. I see you use XMS memory modules so those will fit fine under the SA. The cooler is also very quiet.

judging by a couple of pictures on google image search, the cable tidy options in the case are pretty poo, so a case change might not hurt seeing that you have a windowed case

do you really want a windowed case, because i cant think of any quiet cases that also have a window. short of putting double glazing in your case, your not going to get a quiet windowed case

Helios1234 Are this air cooler VX with two quiet fans good enough to run sandybridge i7 2600K at 4.8GHz with no temperature issues ? I was thinking of getting this one (and does the backplate is the same as Corsair H50 backplate as I don't want to removed motherboard off my Antec 1200 case (no backplate cut-out support)

the backplate is almost certainly different to the H50 as the air cooler weighs a lot more, so the backplate has to provide a hell of a lot more support

Aye the cable management is horrid, and i do like a windowed case, so would like to keep that if possible, my last build was quieter and was in the same case..

+1 for the Silver Arrow

But...if you do go for an all-in-one watercooler the Antec Kuhler H2O 620 would be the way to go imo, outperforming the H50 and H60 whilst being quieter too:

Comparison shows noise differences.

The noise it does produce is very easy to ignore as it is only a low hum and not nearly a high pitched whine.

It should be fine but don't you already have the NH-D14? The back plate is completely different to the Corsair's.
