Can we ... could you get a picture of this? Perhaps with him, I don't know I'm just ad libbing here, high fiving or maybe putting his thumbs up? This is like untapped internet gold.

I'm not sure how to / if I would want to approach him with that request

I quick google image search shows people doing what he's done, will that not suffice?

I have flown a VC-10 simulator a few times. Landed from 3k feet with all 4 engines failed..

I have flown the BAE Systems Concorde simulator from Heathrow to JFK and back. Crash landed.

Was awesome. Wasnt in full working mode with the hydraulics on, but it still felt like it was. It was the actual unit that pilots used to train on. Was amazing. Not sure what became of it after concorde was decommissioned.
Good news for Concorde enthusiasts the simulator is still alive, up and running at Brooklands, though without the hydraulics. It also has the original computer next to it with all the hundreds of cards, wiring and socketed chips. You can of course also go in the real Concorde for the experience.

There are different packages including touring Concorde and having a BA Concorde Captain with you.

Done about 6 hours in a full Level D 737 sim and it is awesome but very expensive! I'd suggest going and doing some actual lessons in a C152 or something if you want a realy flight experience, im now 18 hours into my PPL and its quite simply awesome, hope to move on to my night, instrument ratings etc and then get my CPL.

Just yesterday i flew in a Boeing 737-300 full motion simulator at the Oxford Aviation Academy and i have also flown in one of the 737-800 full motion simulators that CTC Wings has.

The simulators are amazing to fly and you really do forget that it is not the real airplane that you are flying. That said however, i had a flying lesson today in a Cessna 150 and found that just as enjoyable.

If you want to do this, i would go to either CTC wings or Oxford Aviation and use their simulators and instructors as i highly recommend them and they are two of the best aviation schools around.

I've been in some eurofighter one - didn't have hydraulics or anything, but it was a basic cockpit replica with screens above, to sides, and ahead. I took off OK 2nd time after stalling 1st time (or some other bad thing - all I remember is that I had to start again), and flew around for 10 minutes - quite fun, and I thought about getting fsx or something but I never got round to it... Would love to go in some of these other sims sometime.
