Steam won't let me play?!

Hey guys,

I just came out of a black ops sesh and thought, "hmm, quite fancy playing a bit of amnesia?" but I get this...

Never had that before! Isn't there a way of playing steam games off-line?

Restart Steam and try again.

If still nothing, close Steam, delete ClientRegistry.blob, launch Steam, try again.

I've tried restarting and going offline and nothing...

It used happen to me I just waited a few minutes and it worked after.

Finished updating and still amnesia's having none of it... weird that is only one game that seems to be affected?

Have you tried verifying the games cache yet? I'm not sure that Steams getting far enough for that to be a problem though.

I doubt it would fix the issue, but worth trying. :/ Otherwise patience might be the answer.

You probably just had to download a spare pair of underwear, that is all.
