Awesome!

Shame the upload isn't abit more.

I'd definitely think about getting newsgroup access with that connection, or atleast VPN for torrenting :D

Probably no more that 20-30GB a month? That's for a household of three users with a lot of use during the day and at weekends. Very little weekday evening usage...

Would probably be a lot high if we had a faster connection - we could do more! Currently only able to get around 1MB :(

Heres the guts of my internet. Good knows what it all does, got ethernet ports in every room, so no need for wireless really, the kids use that for their laptops, i get better speeds plugged into the wall anyway.

On SkyBB Unlimited LLU. Get about 8mb

normally been around 200 - 300gb a month, usage has gone down quite a bit lately though.

Last month was 100gb and so far this month i've only used about 15gb

i doubt anyone can rival the internet at uni, its ask4 ISP and cost £240/year one off fee :)

MAX SABNZBD SPEED: 33MB/s :D

I was with O2 on the unlimited package (around 13-14Mb/s) two months ago.

Household of 4, used to download around 250-350GB a month, didn't have to worry about traffic management, FUP, any slowdowns or dropped connections.

Not going into details, vast majority of the stuff was streaming and legal digital downloads plus loads of game mods and such.

I had to back down my usage by a lot now as I'm on Virgin 30Mb/s and although the download speed is great, I'm limited by 10GB in the morning up until 2 pm and then have only 5GB from 2-9pm.

I hardly ever download anything now but probably use 120-150GB a month anyway.

It's a pain in the arse that I have to wait till late evening to download any games as I fiddle around with my PC a lot and most games aren't installed (90 games on Steam alone equal to lots of data).

Is there no may to save the data from Steam to reinstall again later if for instance you reformat your drive? Would save some traffic on their servers if you could, I presume you need a steam account to play the games afterwards?

I had an account years ago when I got HL2 but have long since lost the details!

We use under 300GB a month so far, usage is going up month on month though. Mainly due to getting FTTC so we can all use the net at the same time now instead of taking it in turns.

KMpuggy, very nice, good to see the new builds installing ethernet to each room aswell, saves a lot of hastle. Looks like your getting voice and TV over fibre too, ~20Mbps may be getting reserved for those.

I'd be interested in how pings compare to FTTC, would you mind doing some ping tests? I usually get 15ms to bbc and 11-12ms to multiplay.

Code:
ping -t bbc.co.uk
Code:
ping -t multiplay.co.uk
