The line between what can be considered a native PC title and a console port is a very blurry one and games like BC2 and BF3 lie well within this blurry zone.

If PS3 version can play nicely with good graphics, then my [email protected] coupled with 5850 (900/1200MHz overclocked) and 4GB ram should have no problem running this game on max settings at Full HD minus AA and AF, right?

I think the ironic thing will be that no matter how good BF3 looks on max settings, all the self-proclaimed elite gamers will be playing it on minimum settings to get whatever advantage they can

I don't mean getting constant 60fps, but 30-40fps atleast on 1920 x 1080p

Good man.

It makes me rage when people get hardcore gaming PCs and then play on low settings because it apparently makes them play better. Crysis Wars was a good example of this.

I see a lot of people moan about 3D spotting, but thats why you just play the game on hardcore mode, so theres no 3D spotting.

Hardcore has it's own balance problems, TBH it's not fun and sniper one hit kills even when you get hit in the foot mean a sniper camp fest. The core game on PC does not need noob console features like 3D hacking, mini map spotting is all that is needed.
