Just looking for a last minute deal for wife and kids, not really sure about the country. Anyone suggest a nice area to look for ?

Thanks

all inclusives in places like Turkey, Greece, Spain are often born from hotels that could not cut it as normal hotels, for AI look at places where the resorts were desgined as AI in first place such as Egypt and Domincan Republic, neither are as expensive as you may think

We are going to the Hilton in Sarigerme... looks spot on tbh, be a nice change to do Europe after all the long haul flights in recent years.

Its not badly priced either and has good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Simple, Lara Beach.
These are proper 5* AI hotels, we're staying at the Royal Wings this August, it's supposed to be fantastic. It's got its own waterpark and fairground rides all AI.

We spent two weeks last year in olu deniz and again for a week this year for a wedding in May.

I'm not sure what sort of all inclusive hotels are there, but it's a lovely place if you're not that bothered if it's all inclusive or not.

my sentiments exactly, Turkey is the last place I would ever visit, heard far too many bad reports about it.

If you lived anywhere else other than the UK you may not want to visit it too, with all those nasty reports. Get your own opinion on things.

Turkey is a lovely place, although some locals can get a bit pushy in shops. Olu Deniz is very picturesque but a bit out of the way, long connections.

Lykia World are about the best resorts in Turkey and theres one at Olu Deniz and they do all inclusive.

EDIT: wrong hotel name :)

Seriously dont overlook this place, we almost did and now im glad we booked it as some of the others we looked at dont come close in quality:

Beachwise its probably not the best, infact when we go we have to be careful as the turtles are hatching on there! But then in Europe I dont think you will ever get a beach as good as the Caribbean or Indian Ocean... but the hotel has fantastic facilities and is a proper 5* all in... you can even hire a butler for the day for £150 :D

Check out Trip Advisor as well for hotels in each area if this one is out of budget.

I knew a mother and daughter who went to Turkey just the two of them. Just constant hassle off the locals to the point neither would go back again. But for couples/blokes no real problems.

Damn. After reading the thread title, my mind started to wander and I was sure the OP was asking about peoples' carving preferences. :(
