Oh well, its the nature of the beast, with the parts I've got, and what I intend to buy.....my build is already obselete from what I can gather over the four weeks I've been researching it:( never mind the girlfriend gave me the sack, so I have lots more time, and money to spend:):)
 
Timings in general

will the CAS 8-8-8-24 Timings of Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz show much of a difference, in real world gaming, over 9-9-9-24 timings of the Kingston HyperX blu ? I want as good as I can get:)

8GB for £50 is cracking, even if it is 1333MHz.

Any ideas on how it oc/s?
 
gaaaaaah. I'm after 16GB of RAM for my 2600K build. I thought I had it figured out when I found 16GB of RipJawsX series @ £130...... my computer will be used for extreme multi-tasking and video editing so I feel I will get the most out of faster 1600MHz memory. This will be ~35% cheaper though... I'm stuck!
 
Shoot just ordered 8gb last week ... probably don't need it but at these sort of prices definately worth a small investment I think.

Not hard to get around, either take your lunch at that time, or simply have the ram in your checkout, hit refresh and then order as would probably then only take 1 minute to order, even on a mobile. :)

While playing Bad Company 2 last week with my 6GB of ram and no swapfile, it got minimised and I was told my my ram was running low!! So I guess 8GB isn't really overkill now is it?

Its ok Gibbo, I know you cant cater for everyone. No access to computer at work, no mobile internet and I only get 30mins anytime between 12-2.30, sucks I know. Crackin deal though.

Maybe if you did another hour at say 1900-2000hrs to help out workers who cant access your site at the above time.;)

I'm going to be incredibly anal about this an wait for 4GB XMS3 to drop to £30 again to whack in my rig...purely for the e-peen of course.
