Been looking for some Recaros for my Cabriolet as the standard seats are poo, and I stumbled across these WOW how nice are those

The car only cost me £999 I doubt I'd get a pass to spend £500 on two front seats for it

You genuinely made my brain hurt

A decent custom leather retrim will cost at least £500.

Loved the Recaro's in my old S1 & S2 Escort Turbo's, but must say, the Leather recaro's that were in my Sierra were awful. Comfy, sure, but you tended to slide out of the damn things if you cornered like a moron....

You'd end up with a torn, fag burnt, oil covered, collapsed bolster, very knackered set.

A decent pair for my xr3i is going to set me back £150, maybe cheaper but will need some work

Same seats as in a bunch of cars, Evo 1, CM5A Lancer GSR, CA4A Mirage Cyborg, early CJ4A Mirage Cyborg, Proton Satria GTi. £100-150 seems the going rate.
