You'd be suprised at how tight the richer people are with their money, I work for a high net worth wealth management bank and the richer they are the more they count their pennies.

Depends on the way the money has been acquired, people with inheritted or money won seem to be more liberal.

The ones who have earnt it are of course financially savvy.

In fairness, once you get to really insane levels of wealth, people can get a bit insane with hanging on to it. The amounts of tax planning people will do to avoid paying inheritance tax is mental. Moving to Switzerland permanently when they have no friends there or anything... Erm, yeah, alright...

My sister keeps getting taken for a sucker with this one... every time... she runs a small business on the side and it seems a big target for it. You'd have thought she'd have learnt after the first time

Not in Dan's case. He seems to be a playboy who just parties and sleeps with some of the most beautiful women in the world. Easy to do when you inherit £200m.
