50p Jet Wash with BP Garages

Nothing wrong with a jet wash as long as you stay clear of the brush as a pre clean to a two bucket method hand job.

What the hell is a jet wash? Won't it be as easy if i take my garden hose to my car with a jet attachment on the hose?

50p to blast off brake dust instead of labouring with a bowl and pad for 20 minutes?

Yes please!

It doesn't, it just means you don't have to break out the hose, pressure washer and stuff. Perfect for a quick blast and it's only 50p...

No idea, isn't it usually £1 a minute?

Nothing wrong with spraying your cleaning stuff on the car (wheel cleaner, degreaser, APC or what ever) and blasting it off before you go home to wash it.

I have to pick my kids up from a school & nursery located at the end of muddy lanes, much better for me to dirty BP's jet wash area that my driveway...

Costs me £3 around here for foam and jet wash. The only reason I haven't invested in my own pressure washer is because I'm not sure the volume of water coming out the faucet in my garden would be sufficient enough. It runs the same volume as a normal household tap.

Should be fine I would have thought? Thought that was a reason a lot of people bought them?

Going by other garden faucets I've seen, the water volume is rather low in comparison, it often struggles to get from one end of the hose to the other :p Wasn't sure if it would be sufficient, perhaps a far shorter hose is required.
