XBL Gold £1 for 1 month - upto 36 months

Got 2 Paypal payments in and it's stopped me again... oh well, got 6 months out of them.

I already have 12 months (Well 11 left) from when i bought it last month at 40% off, these months here will just add on yeh?

So if i buy say another 6 months will i have to ring up to cancel the constant adding of a month or ??
 
I think the Auto-renewal will only become a problem when you get to that point, but if you keep remembering to add more months before the renewal, you'll not need to worry about it.

I've managed to add 6x £1 golds to my existing 12 months of gold, so got plenty of time left to worry about the auto-renew.

Seems if you get the error saying it wont go through, leave it a few minutes and come back, I've managed another 2 since I last got stopped.

Wont this turn on auto renewal and take it from your paypal each month after?

I think I'd rather stick with prepaid cars after the debacle of cancelling my card last time.
 
It says it will charge you the then going rate for a month if you don't cancel or change your renewal before you membership is up. I'd intpret that as when your gold membership expires so in my case mid 2012.
 
btw guys cancelling is a pain in the backside....expect to be on the phone for at least 30mins (no exageration at all) whilst they offer you deal after deal, ask you again and again why you want to cancel and are you sure before finally agreeing to cancel it for you and even then expect to pay another 2 months xbl at set price.

its a complete joke and until youv actually done it yourself it is hard to understand what people are talking about when they say cancelling is bloody hard work!

I used to pay monthly, I then decided to buy a prepaid 12 months card, however as I had a debit card registered to my account I was unable to use my prepaid card to renew my live subscription, even though I had phoned them to turn off auto renewal. Because I had a card on my account it voided my option of being able to use prepaid cards.

For this reason alone I will never put my card details through xbox live again, prepaid cards all the way.

I have my debit card registered to my XBL account, but I purchased my 12 month subscription with a pre-paid card.
