gt the desk which will match the colours of the room, for me i would go for the brown colour as my carpet is a brown colour wit hcream walls

I think they change where they source the veneers from because of this it might not look like it does in the picture. I'd go down to Ikea instead of buying over the net plus the postage is a rip off.

I've seen almost white birch jonas desks and others that are more of a yellowy brown.

You seem like a very style conscious individual - I would however suggest that neither are suitable and that you should opt for the birch instead.

Some people have pointed out that you should match the furniture - these people are clearly idiots - everyone knows that apple leads the way as far as style/design is concerned - the imac is obviously the most important thing in the room, the desk it is sitting on should be chosen to match it. you should then re-think the room in order to match the desk.
If you find that other furniture in the room then doesn't match the imac desk it should immediately be thrown out and new furniture sourced. Ditto with wall paper/carpet etc.. you might need to re-decorate.

Anyway its good to see at least one person who has their priorities right

Is it for a Mac, or for a PC? Couldn't tell from OP. Makes all the difference when buying a new desk.
