First build Gaming done :) pics and results .

also hate the fact that my case just looks like spaghetti, cable managment options are non existant, either that or i just suck at doing it lol.

Buy some of the bitfenix cable extensions for the cables, then a load of zip ties so you can put all the excess somewhere out of sight. There is usually somewhere if you're creative enough.

Really nice build mate! Like your setup, I would probably put pc on the desk or somewhere else so I have more leg room, but that's just me. Good looking case!

Yep, 3 fans at the bottom push cool air into the case that then gets sucked out through the top fan.

Ok the only thing i see a problem with that, is that three fans are going to pull floor dust in like a dyson, particular on that kind of flooring. You may do well to put nylons over the intakes.. Make sure you ask the Mrs first though ;)

All Case Fans come with built in dust filters. See here: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=242&area=usa

But, still better to put on top of the Desk then under.

Awesome case.

The filters on these cases do a real good job. Just have to remember to give them a vacuum every so often :p

Nice build btw :) I quite like the red on the interior, mine is just black. I also have that power supply. Just need to resist buying another 580 now :p

Really nice build. Love the case too. Agree with the other guys though, looks like it would be better for it to be on top of the desk than on the floor.

To the OP, make sure top fan is pointing in the right direction. Sure it is, but cant tell from the photo.

Awesome build, well done !

yeah i double checked it is.
i've gone for the push pull due to the H50.

Am thinking of putting it on the desk just that it will over hang puts me off

You have the Asrock Extreme 4 MB, right? Did you use the 2*USB3 bracket in the front on the PC or at the back? If at the front, did you need to buy a 5.25" to 3.5" adaptor?

im not sure what you mean sorry as still new at it. if you mean the usb part i got with the mb no didnt use it. if you mean the usb on the case no didnt need an adaptor.
Sorry if this wasnt what you ment as still new :)

BTW heres the pic of it on the table.

Have to agree with pretty much everybody else - a case that good deserves to be on the desk rather than under it!

I believe that Asrock board comes with a dual USB3 that you can either stick in a 3.5" drive bay or attach to an adaptor and use at the back for additional USB3 ports - I'm hoping to do a similar build at some point which is why I'm interested in things like the sound levels (Which I asked about earlier :)) and also if you needed an adaptor or not.

An I thought I did well with my recent new build! That case is smexy, still love my red/white NZXT but thats an epic build :)
Hope you have the time to pwn on it mate ^^Well played, GG!

Ok i just ran Witcher 2 this is near the start with the dragon part.

High spec Screen rez 2560x1440 was getting between 30-40FPS

Ultra spec screen rez 2560x1440 was getting 10-12FPS

Ultra spec screen rez 1920x1080 was getting around 20-25FPS

I also switched my graphic cards round as the one the DVI is plugged in was makeing a lot of noise the same as and XBO360 would after a while of play.
Seems the other one is much quieter as hardly makes any. does this mean there may be a problem with that one?

well those FPS look rather low for SLI 580. More like single 580, unless I'm mistaken.

ok if thats is the case must have done somethong wrong.
Also now i have switched GPU round im getting lower temps.

Was getting 75c in one the other 56c
now getting 63c and 44c.

Look at the temps. If they are much higher then the cooler may not be installed properly. If the temps are lower, then the fan profile is too aggressive.
