PC gaming aficionados, we hear you. And today, we are very happy to announce that L.A. Noire will be arriving on the PC platform this fall.

Developed by Rockstar Leeds and built to run on a wide range of PCs, L.A. Noire's robust feature customization includes keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality to both optimize and customize performance and user experience. Along with increased fidelity and improved graphical enhancements, the PC version will also feature 3D support for an even greater sense of interaction and immersion within a painstakingly detailed 1940s Los Angeles.

Originally developed by Team Bondi in conjunction with Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire is a crime thriller set in post World War II Los Angeles. As Detective Cole Phelps, players must search for clues, interrogate suspects and chase down criminals to solve a series of cases based on real world incidents. As he rises through the ranks of the LAPD, Phelps comes face-to-face with the corrupt heart of Los Angeles: from fallen starlets to double-dealing police officers and the vast reaches of the criminal underworld and finally, the darkness of his own personal demons.

Good to see Rockstar doing this for Pc now & looks a decent game from console gameplay. Anyone played it ? Thoughts ?

Glad Rockstar are doing this. Also, a good sign for PC gaming! They obviously feel it's worth it. Let's just hope it doesn't get pirated to **** otherwise they will stop doing this in future.

Hopefully it paves the way for Alan Wake to be released on PC....or am I just hoping in vein?

I'll be sure to shceck this game out thought, looks decent enough. I hope there's a demo.

Probably one of the most overrated games I've ever had the displeasure of being passed the controller for.

Great news it's coming to PC though. :)

I'd be more hoping that it would pave the way for Red Dead Redemption on the PC.

Good to see this heading over. It's fun enough on the Xbox if you like the GTA template, but the graphics are very low res and muddy in some places as usual.

Should be fun if the performance is anything similar to the shoddy port of gta4.

OOH ITS A FEATURE!!!!!!!!!Shove that right up your asses rockstar.

Why are people and devs so hung up on pirating. Surely pirating on PC loses them nowhere near as much money as pirating + second hand game sales on consoles.

Also, yaaaay, hopefully be on Steam, my GF will be pleased.

That's how I feel too. If only it was a good game then I'd be excited!

Red Dead Redemption is so much better! Shame that's not coming to PC though because since I've played pretty much all the best looking PC games, Xbox games just look so bad..I can't help but check the detail of the game and compare it to PC games.

I just did a quick search for several very popular titles on a particular nzb site which logs the number of downloads. Both versions had very similar numbers regardless of the game in question.

This is by no way a very accurate way of making any sweeping statements, but I do think PC piracy is blown out of all proportion when compared to console piracy, especially on the 360 where it is rife.

I mean come on, there are even web sites now that will sell you a pre-modded Xbox 360 with a 12 month guarantee and instructions on how to "back up" your games /cough
