i hope this isnt a repost, but i saw this when i was linked to another post in the PC gaming section and had to share it.
as the title says, dell has shipped 65 screws in individual plastic bags, but they then decided to put each plastic bag into its own ~A4 size padded envelope. to add insult to mother nature's injury it was all put inside a giant cardboard box, with a mass of invoice paperwork
you would have thought they would have learnt not to do this after recieving many complaints from people hearing about them posting 50 CMOS batteries in individual large padded shipping boxes
i'm not normally one to complain that someone hasnt recycled their newspaper, or if someone uses their car for a walkable journey, but even i would complain at dell for not being eco friendly with their packaging.
