Thinking about getting this case, even though the price is a bit insane...

i wanted a case that was full aluminum construction (down to the buttons!), with cable management, and looks the **** :) this seem to literately be the only case that fits those requirements.

just wondering what everyone thought of it, or better yet, if anyone has ordered one?? worth the price tag ;) or just take some plastic and steel and go for 650d?

cheers guys.

edit: my current case is lian li, i feel like its a bit of an addiction, once you've owned an lian li all other cases feels/looks cheap!

Not got that exact case, but I did pay > £200 for my current Lian-Li PC-A71F (link in signature), and I'd happily do the same again if I got to re-choose.

A top end Lian-Li is a superb investment, and if it gives me half the lifespan of my previous CoolerMaster ATCS-201-SXK (of which it's done a good 8 years service), then I'll get good value for money!

definitely! my current case is this beauty:

i've had it for 7 years now, and it still looks almost brand new, quality is simply amazing - alas my psu is too big :(

£300 for a case though! think i paid no more than 200 for my pc-v1000 7 years ago.

are there any alternatives for me at around 200 mark?

ps. ur case looks amazing mate - cable management is exactly where i want mine at - perfect! i was reading ur thread today and made me think about lian li again, after almost going for the 650d!!

Agreed, got the A70F, cost £170.00 when i got it, (bit higher now). The majority of cases do indeed seem rather inferior in comparison, the build quality and fit/finish is outstanding.

i just wish those cases had cable management holes! i still might get one anyway and just spend more time on doing cables...

setter and prardigm are your cases fully aluminium? are the buttons plastic? thanks.

The only plastic parts in the A70F are the fans, the filters, the wire sheathing, the clips on the top two 5.25 bays and yep, the buttons are plastic as well. I particularly like the all aluminium front panel, it has such a quality feel to it, beautifully finished even on the inside which is never really seen.

Power and reset are black plastic. I keep wondering about changing them for aluminium anti-vandal buttons, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

Rest of the case is alu though.

Ive thought about this as well, think they would really set it off, ive bought an all black pcie clamp system for mine as well, gonna change the slot covers to either black, or get the current ones powdercoated blue at the same time as the case.

what, you can buy aluminium buttons? where?

really dont know what case to get now...

TheCenturion it is meant to be similar, how do you like your case?

Thats a stonking case for sure.

I only buy quality expensive aluminum cases and as mentioned above they just last years, my previous ATCS201 was nearly 7 years old when I retired it and its still in mint condition.

Just do it, well worth the money*

As for buttons, just google for Anti Vandal Switch, you'll find something to suit your needs.

*Assuming you actually use it for a few generations of build.
