Type 2 Diabetes can be reversed...

a lot of people with diabetes that i know brought it on themself gorging on unhealthy foods and sweets/crisps etc there is no way they could manage a normal diet nevermind one like that
 
yeh an excuse for fat people! brilliant....no chance they would last on that diet.

and last time i checked numero uno cause of diabetes is a completely unhealthy diet, of **** and chips
 
As others have said, most type 2 diabetics develop the disease due to unhealthy diet full of fat and sugar. Sure theres a genetic component as with a huge number of diseases. This new article doesnt actually tell me anything useful though, like what the diagnostic criteria were and there were all of 11 people, it means nothing. TBH its well known that if diabetes is caught early in the "impaired glucose tolerance" phase it can be reversed with lifestyle modification.

Meh - Wish more effort would be put into type 1 research, IMO every effort should be make to cure that before Type 2, but of course as there are way more type 2s this isn't going to happen.
 
aye type 1 sucks, think they should they put all the monies in to type 1 and then type 2 can sort it self out :)

erm have you saw how he decided to construct his post? if thats not an obvious statement i dont know what is :rolleyes: also note how he chips in right after your post and what he says another blatant attempt at baiting someone which is also known as trolling.

i merely added my personal experiences of how the people i know that suffer from diabetes are.... he came in and added nothing at all to the topic and im the bad guy? LOL

Baiting? I'm merely agreeing with what is actually a quite pertinent statement.
 
Interesting article. My wife was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes two months ago, the majority of her family suffer with it.

Certainly worth a try.
