I'm about to buy a new system consisting of an AMD Phenom II X4 955BE and a Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-US2H motherboard (most likely)

I'm planning on putting this in an existing case which has a 350W power supply. I won't be gaming or using it for anything other than office/windows use, I'll be using the inboard GFX and only adding one wireless LAN PCI. Will this power supply still be sufficient for this CPU/ motherboard?

Oh its just some one which came with the case way back. A codegen 350w

It might be possible to use my x-pro MPT-401P which is a 400w I have in my case at the moment if really necessary

Potentially yes. It could also potentially fry everything. I would still get a Corsair CX / BeQuiet L7 to be on the safe side. These OEM PSUs are a liability and an accident waiting to happen. There is no efficiency, power protection or power distribution info in the 'specifications'.

The other 350W PSU, really a no-no.
