You missed the part with the guy in a very very bad suit talking you through the website. I don't want to view sites where a guy tells me what it is etc, I want to read it.

The big one near me is AsOne not sure how good they are, but they seem to be very well renowned and they're always on the radio seeing as they designed the local radio website and app.

Looks nice but lacks any worth while information, especially regarding portfolio (from clicking around like a made man, you can't view anything). I'm also assuming it's a freelancer from the whois and lack of contact details.

Evolving (http://www.evolvingagency.com/) might be worth looking at; certainly some of their work is impressive (Yo!Sushi etc). Their up Brickhill Drive (near The Park pub). But note that they are an agency rather than Billy sitting at his computer in his bedroom, so expect agency prices

He said they were great a small company but with some big clients he said they even helped with lots of SEO advice and a very good price but he did say the project took longer than expected

Any web design company whose own front page is Flash-only does not fill me with confidence. Flash is disabled where I am working currently, so all I see is a big grey square.

Ooh, gets excited as I see he won top 5 award at VMA, thinking it was Video Music Awards. Unfortunately it was top 5 at the Veterinary Marketing Association awards
