I watch maybe 10 films a week. Some I have seen before, so probably about 4 or 5 new films.

I have only just watched The Terminal (tom hanks) Awesome film! I was the same with shawshank, i was told its great etc, thought meh, watched it. Nearly cried :o

Watched armageddon and salt tonight. Volume loud and beers :D

The terminal is really good but shawshank is head and shoulders above most films. Even knowing how it transpires I still choke up a few times during the film :p

It ain't great, but still watchable IMO, but then I take films at face value and don't expect a lot.

You must have loads of free time like me.

Makes me cry, makes me realise it is hope above all else that keeps us going.

Glad I am not the only one who gets emotional, had to really hold it together at the end of Armageddon when they land and the boy runs to his dad :o

That makes films all the better. Always think if a film can get me welling up then it must be doing something right!

I am a bit disappointed with films at the moment.

This year I have seen Law abiding citizen and The Terminal which I would class as 9 out of 10 films.

I go back to films in my collection because they are awesome films.

I think i need to create a thread,

SPEC ME SOME EPIC FILMS

Need to list everything i have watched lol

Tried that nothing struck me, I was hoping with my list people would be able to recommend a more personalised selection.

OK, I'll have a bash... This is based on films similar to those on your list and some where my mind just wandered as I was going along.
