What "fun" 2+2 cars are out there now? Up to £25k.

Can only really think of:
Hyundai Coupe
Peugeot RCZ
VW Scirocco (more of a hatch back though).

Any others?

For the lolz, Rover 220 Turbo Coupe, with 5k spent making it 400bhp and handle well.

*don't do this, the chassis can barely take the stock 197bhp.

£25k is the wrong budget for an XKR.
Unless you want to keep a hefty amount for when an old one breaks

i gotta tell you id bet on the reliability of an XKR/XK8 as much as i would a modern BMW/Merc.

You're kidding right?

Reliability of Jags since ~2000 is easily on-par with BMW!

Even older ones aren't exactly bad... it's just some of the straight-six engines you could do with avoiding.

Nope, i thought that one i drove was alright but i certainly wouldnt call it fun.
