So lets see the first pic....the box shot!

Couple of the empty case.

All the little goodies with the case all clearly labelled, nice touch.

Here's the motherboard with all the bits and bobs you get with it

The PSU.

Also got some cable ties and a metal sticker with the PSU:D

Got the motherboard and PSU installed

Time for the RAM, CPU and CPU cooler to go in

Get the 6870, HDD and DVD drive in next (and all the rest)

Right so everything's in now but not very tidily, look at that snake pit in the bottom:D

Chucked the windowed side on to see what it's like and check everything is working

So everything was working, I installed Windows, drivers, etc....

Time for some cable management with the Thermaltake cable ties!

And the end result

Where the snake pit used to be

Front view with door open - with the Thermaltake sticker lol

Then sitting in it's home (under a messy desk!)

So that's all done now, just gotta transfer all my files from my old laptop over and then I'm gonna be overclocking, so we'll see how that goes.

They are huge, I have to scroll left / right on each picture a fair way, also they are in your face, I almost to need to put the laptop the other side of the room!

nice build man, nice neat cable management.

one question... the antec kuhler, how is it performing? reasonable temps? i'm sure mine is broken as i can hear a rattling sound from it, is yours quiet?

Yeah it's pretty quiet but I'm used to a laptop that sounds like a concord lol

At stock after 10 mins of prime 95 my max temp was like 42C I think.

Gonna overclock it after dinner I think and I'll let you know what my temps are like.

Oh dear that doesn't sound good :(

Mine doesn't make a noise like that at all fortunately, thought about RMA?

What temps are you getting?

ye, i think its broken lol, RMA'ing on monday... i got an i7 2600k and get max temps with prime95 running for 8 hours of 51C on each core using CoreTemp.

thanks for letting me know that yours does'nt sound like that though. Will definitely RMA

EDIT: temps are at stock speed
