Opinion on these specs

Okay i am about to have a custom pc built and i am wondering what you guys think of these specs would you change anything? Thanks in advance! ;)

Case: NZXT M59 Mid tower

CPU: Intel core i5 2500K

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V

RAM: 4GB DDR3 Kingston Hyper X RAM

Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 6870 (crossfire in the future)

Power: 1000 Watt Corsair Power Supply

Hard drive: 1TB SATA II

Sound: Asus Xonar DS 24


So what do you think, any good :confused:

I will also be using Dell UltraSharp U2311H as display Logitech X-530 for audio Razor deathader for mouse and Logitech G15 keyboard


P.S this will be used for gaming, Media and just general everyday use

Yeah very good spec, but overkill really.

Unless your real big into audio editing, etc, then you won't need a sound card, onboard will be good enough.

You can crossfire 6870s on a 750-850w PSU, you don't need 1000w

You'll also save a lot of money building yourself, if your confident enough, if not have a look at overclockers pre-made builds, they're very good.

Would you be confident enough to build yourself? It is very easy, I'm only 13 and I built the computer I am using now. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube and on the forum that explain how to do it. By building yourself, you will save a lot of money, and I find it to be an enjoyable pass time.

I have thought about it but I'm kinda worried that i will brake something plus how do i do all the wiring without it being a complete mess?
 
Pretty much all components nowadays are noob proof. If you want to be extra safe, you can pick up an anti-static wrist band for a couple of quid, or just touch a grounded metal object.

As for the wiring, use cable ties or Velcro straps.

you could change things to that spec to like a different case depending on your taste, or a bigger hard drive

it really doesn't matter that much and ones that do are really expensive anyway
