Hi there

A great group test here of what is probably the best current supercars including McLaren 12C.

Quite a good test! Good watch! :)

Not sure how valid his judgement on the McLaren is given that his main objection to it seems to be that you can't turn the traction control off. This is untrue according to evo's Roger Green:

'All the cars were lapped with all the traction aids fully off, they are all faster that way. The first laps I did in the McLaren had the final level of traction still on, but it interferred too much, so I came back in and learnt how to switch it all off (it's complicated).'

I think the McLaren is a huge achievement for a completely new company's first effort. Still, even though I'm a huge fan of McLaren, I agree with Gibbo - it's Porsche all the way for me.

Yeah if you want the best it seems the Ferrari 458 is the car to beat now, its not only the quickest its also the most involving and most accurate to drive without wanting to kill you.

Though Porsche do seem to be the closest in performance with their GT2, would be interested to see where the GT3 4.0 RS compares, I know its got less power but it seems to be the most sorted car from Porsche when it comes to driving.
