We have chosen the breed, but!

We have decided we would like a Miniature Labradoodle (average about 19 inches tall). But I dont want one that looks too "poodle" like.

There are 3 options: Pure Australian, 50:50 English/Australian and English.

We think we prefer the Pure Australian version as its virtually non shedding.

but for the 3 variants of the breed we are stuggling for adult photos.

Also there is a cost issue.

Pure Australian £1400
50:50 £1200
English £800

So may I test your googlefu skills please?

gay you say? do explain? Im not biting, but saying something is gay is the retort of a 16 year old, you are of course entitled to not like the breed, but hey ho....

Hardly of just a 16 year old, used quite widely by older people.

However I see dogs like that as being fashion statements rather than being a dog.

If the labradoodle is anything like the toy poodle in character I suspect you'll love em, especially if you spend some time training it :)
The big downside with non shedding dogs is grooming and trimming them (my mum's toy poodle hates being brushed/trimmed).

cheers werewolf, I had been thinking of the grooming involved, will need to be on top of that from when we get the puppy. Being 19-21 inches tall its not really a toy doy mason, and trust me itll be on the farm getting muddy, not a fashion statement.

Re the grooming, we recently found that a "slicker" brush seems to be the best for the poodle, it's basically soft slightly hooked wire bristles, in a soft rubber base.
The idea is that it sort of "skips" past the worst parts of any tangles, and gradually works them out rather than pulling and hurting.
