Official Overclockers UK Merchandising

No way would I put sticker in my car or wear a T-Shirt advertising a random computer retailer. Can you imagine the feeling when someone asks you what OcUK stands for? Then explaining what overclocking is? I can imagine the people walking away slowly already.

Coasters, pens, cups and the such would be alright though.

For those that aren't forum members similar to other companies. Not everyone wants to post on these forums to get the free delivery. Personally if I spent £1000 on a computer, I would expect free delivery or something similar that is actually useful.

If I spent £1000 on a computer delivery probably wouldn't be significant enough to bother me :p

You get free delivery anyway?

or add a mug for £5 (extra large ofc!) or it's free if your order exceeds £500?
I think they should offer a choice of several novelty items if your order exceeds a certain value.

EG,

"Your order exceeds £500, please choose your free gift item from the following:"

and then have radio buttons to choose from either a free Keyring, Mug or Pen, at the order confirm screen.

Keyring, mug or pen!?

They are in completely different leagues!?

That would be like asking if you would like a rock, a pint of beer or some curtains.

Nobody wants a rock (unless you are 4 or a bit 'different' in the head), and a curtain is useful, however when a pint of beer is offered, who would say no?
Mug wins every time.

While we're on the subject of beer, OcUK beer glass? And/or complimentary OcUK beer/token for a pint with purchases over £500?

Would happily wear a lanyard as I wear three for work at the moment. I keep being given new ones and told to wear them.

Mugs not so much as i don't drink tea or coffee. USb Thumb drive would be handy, the 4Gb one I have just fills up too quickly. Keyring, yes, that would also be good.

Personally it doesn't interest me.

If it was some random item free with x amount spent then it might be a nice gesture, but nothing that would or wouldn't make me spend here.

But then I'm sure you're not looking to give away these items :)

I would split an expensive order into 2/3 orders and claim the pen, keyring and mug, lololo.

OcUK mug

I need some

Personally, I'd never wear computer related clothing. But I'd rock my OcUK mug all day. The new logo of course

:D Love the smilie.

+1 for a cup or mug, would sip with pride. :D

So am I right in saying the conclusion is:

Pens
Mugs
Lanyards
Mousemats
Stickers

Have I miss anything else? :)

OcUK Stickers! Don't forget these ;)

I think it would be best to throw in xxx amount after every xxx spent! No1 would buy merchandise for sure! This sort of stuff is marketing ideas anyway!

P.S make sure they are good quality mind otherwise if I was to order and they wern't they would just instantly go into the bin.
