asrock extreme4 z68 compatible with corsair vengance 8gb (1866mhz)?

hi all! was just wonderign about the compatiblity of asrock extreme4 z68 and corsair 8gb vengance. i cuddnt find the ram on the mobos compat list.
any help whould be great here!

yep as long as its 240pin DDR3 RAM and the speed is compatible then the RAM will be fine.

may have some troubles with the bigger aftermarket coolers though with those big heatsinks though

I have 2x4GB 1600MHz Vengeance in my Extreme4 Z68 - runs perfect @ 1.5v

As mentioned above, heatsinks are pretty big, so I have in slots 2&4

In my recent review of the ASRock Z68 Extreme4 I was using 8gb Vengeance memory.. I too was a bit worried due to my Huge cooler.

I included some photos of the clearance between memory and Noctua D14 heatsink.

I had better clearance than with the Asus P8P67 Deluxe board, but it was still close fit...
