Nice saving on that. I've had mine for a few months now, feels good to type on and great for gaming. Shame I paid about £20 more than that !

the keyboard will get even more smoother once its been used a bit more :)

love my g510 better than the g15

Yes, and some games have the patches built into the game install. Duke Nukem 3D for example is one.

Many thanks for the replies guys - I looked in to one these models a while back but was unsure of which games were supported/if there was scope for new games in the future :)

The keys are relatively quiet, for me (heavy fingered touch typist) they are a bit louder but if you type a bit softer then they're not too bad.

The macro recording is fantastic too, generally a fantastic keyboard for a damn good price. If I didn't have 2, I'd buy 1 for that price. :P

I bought a G510 recently and wrote a review: http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/logitech_gaming_keyboard_g510_review,1.html

Very lovely keyboard and OCUK have an excellent price.

A gold award for that keyboard, seriously? I always find it funny reading the "Testing" part of a review. The information seems a little light, "Although the majority of gamers may not find use for it, macros can prove useful in RTS or MMO games" There are more than 10+ million WoW accounts, i think that macro keys are important for these gamers, as well as HON.

The review doesn't actually point out which type of gamer this keyboard is aimed at, the casual gamer, the hardcore gamer, but then which type is this keyboard most suited to, MMO, RTS FPS?

At £70, this is aimed at the higher end, but the anti ghosting feature is something of a gimmick in itself, at this price point, FPS gamers would opt for a PS2 keyboard giving NKRO. Also, MMO gamers can use the macro keys, meaning casting is a simpler affair, the fact it has anti ghosting is just marketing, with this keyboard it potentially makes no difference, although i have yet to see a keyboard for more than £50 that only offers 3 key pushes, so the fact that this can do 5 is almost a given.

There is also not much talk about sound card and the performance in the review, the quality of the sound and how it stacks up to included sound cards of a lot of the £60+ headsets out there. If, for example, you have a USB sound card, you wont need the on board audio, if you have a internal sound card, you also wont want this feature, a simple extension seems to have been lost on Logitech here.

I thought the point of a review is that it is more information than i can get on the manufacturers website, with a strong and well balanced insight into what the product will mean for the consumer if they buy it, something that is lacking from vortez.
