Also looking for screen recommendations.

Thanks guys

i7 offers nothing to gaming above i5 2500K so you can drop that back and save some cash, also do you need a high spec mobo or will a basic one do? could save some more there
Get a newer faster SSD such as the Agility3
Whilst the 580 is v good, imo its not worth the premium over a 570

if only gaming go for i5 2500k same as i7 2600k

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/129

uses about same power,
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/51

with savings bump up SSD to 120gb? get all your games and OS/heavily used programs on there, faster load times etc.

If i was spending £53 on cpu cooler i would go air, as top range air coolers are lot better than H50.

One of best air coolers around (thermaslright cpu cooler out of stock at mo would recommend that also)

If i was spending over grand on pc i'd amke sure there was 128 SSd in there

Case personalchoice so if ya like the looks of it go with it :)

Also agree do you need the 2600K, I decided not and bought two 2500K's. I like the case choice, nearly went for it then saw the 600T in white :)

I realise 120gb SSD is a big boost, but he seems happy with just having fast OS loading times and the other 2 drives in raid 0.

Motherboard - someone needs to convince me the ASRock is better.

Graphics - the crossfired cards worth it and the PSU upgrade...? Traditionally im an nvidia fan.

Thanks again guys.

If you really need the power of the 580 then there is still room in the budget for that but unless you are running multiple monitors it is excessive really.

If there was ever a reason to buy a certain piece of kit over another then this has gotta be it......

"Because Stulid got one"

he is like the Justin Bieber of the OCuk forums :D :D :D

EDIT: See http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/asroc...v-pro-gigabyte-z68x-ud3h-b3,review-32188.html
feel free to skip to the conclusion section :P

If you were interested in the water cooling the h60 is on special with a free fan for £60

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-035-OP

The Z68 version mobo is the same price but with extra features

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-457-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

Also would a larger PSU not be better in case you fancy SLI later on, maybe like this 1000w modular one for $149

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-053-OC

Hope this was helpfull

By the way what is the difference between the spin point f1 and f3 apart from £5?
