Scythe Gentle Typhoon 5400 rpm

Repoorted to be noisy fans and shift a lot of air, yes fair enough but on half whack do they produce the same sort of noise as the other scythe typhoons?

Anybody own one on here could recommend?

I'm interested in this as well.

I'm thinking about sticking one on my cpu cooler, running about 1/2 speed most of the time but with the ability to wind it right up to the full 5400rpm if things get a bit toasty!

I'd be interested on peoples thoughts on this?

My goodness I couldn't even stand that at it's starting voltage of 6v. You guys must be totally deaf if you'd even consider living in the same house as one of those fans.

Overclocking is not worth that sort of noise.

Well... do you honestly expect a 120mm 5400RPM fan to be quiet? Because pretty much any 120mm north of 2000RPM gets noisy.

I did think about getting 4 of these and using them to push pull on the h100 :eek:

At the end of that vid it slightly topples.

They'll be great as it would mean i wont have to run my vacuum to keep my baby asleep. But i'd have to get straps for my case to hold it down.
