how do you feel about her and can you tell me or anyone else who is interested a little more about the general concensus throughout the country?

what a nutjob. removing the minimum wage in America would completely devastate the workforce.

It's like they pick these candidates just so they don't get a woman elected. They're all ****ing morons.

A few people I've spoken to think she's about as nutty as Sarah Palin but more dangerous in that she has a slightly better chance of getting elected president given she's somewhat more erudite and thus far less prone to horrendous gaffes.

I cannot see her getting the nomination let alone winning an election, but if it were to happen it would probably mean the end of the world, or at least the end of American exceptionalism.

She is probably right but it just sounds bad because its a complicated issue summed up in one sentence.

The minimum wage is at best pointless and at worst only serves to destroy the lives of the people it is supposed to be helping. Obviously people with Buy-to-Let empires get a nice kick out of it though.

You can just go to google scholar and type in 'UK minimum wage' - see what the results of the academic journals are that you come back with.

i've heard a lot of people and by that i mean anyone i've spoken to who is late 40's+ say that they preferred the way things were under thatcher when it came to finances

Obviously you haven't asked people in the North East. A lot of very bitter people around here.

Without getting this debate onto Mrs Thatcher it very much depends on who you speak to what the prevailing opinion is as I could say the polar opposite from my experience.
