Did anyone else catch this tonight? I really enjoyed and look forward to further character development. loads of funnies, and a seriously sexy barrister! copper isn't half bad either a definite 7.5...

its about 3 paramedics and how they live their lives and interact with the other services and their patients. but perfectly un pc....

anyone else got any thoughts?

I'll watch it tonight on Sky+, primarily because Robb Stark is in it and hopefully he'll be vanquishing some Lannister scum. It looked pretty good in the adverts for it.

Watched it, really enjoyed it too. When I first saw the advert, I thought it may be in a similar vein to Phoneshop, but was pleasantly suprised that it was a little more serious (if not by much, and thats not to say that Phoneshop wasnt great too). Will definitely be tuning in for the next one.

Just watched it, thought it was good, be interesting to see how the series pans out.

It really reminds me of Teachers with it's semi-serrious and dry approach.

thats it, was trying to put my finger on it, but i also thought the filming style is a bit like queer as folk, a mixture of the two maybe.

The Trailer defiantly sold it as something else, it looked far more like a flat out comedy... which is why I was first taken back when the sponsor message at the start of the show popped up:

"Drama on 4, sponsored by xxxx"

I was like..... I thought it was a comedy!?

I enjoyed it and will continue watching.

Kayvan Novak does seem like he is playing a character who is very similar and only a little smarter than his character in Four Lions.

When they announced the name before the show I thought it was going to be the 1993 norkfest with Elle MacPherson. As such, I began disappointed but quite enjoyed it. I'm still not 100% sold on it though.

lol thats what i thought when i nsaw the title of this thread :(

Just watched it, pretty good. Similar style to Teachers but doubt it'll be anywhere as good.
Will watch the series though.

Not seen it yet, but it's based on a blog\book by Tom Reynolds (a false name to protect himself) about his time in the ambulance service. His books were available for free as legit PDF's and had some v. funny stuff in them, as well as some more sobering stories.

He blogs at http://www.briankellett.net/ now. Seems he's a bit nervous about the TV series :)

Just watched it - thought it was very good apart from the female characters were all pretty rubbish I thought (I liked that dirty barrister though ;) ). Robb Stark is gay :(

It was quite funny. Not sure I'll make a conscious effort to tune in especially though. For some reason the bit I found the most hilarious was the start of the "down" sequence where they're out in the city on a Friday night and some Leeds slapper says "Get away from me! Don't you look up my skirt!" when Robb Stark was going to treat her knee.

The copper woman was nice. I liked her character. But best character is the EMT boss woman with the acid tongue. She ought to be in it more. :D

Thought I'd bump this to give the series some well deserved recognition.

Watched a few of these now and really enjoying them.
