The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi.

The court had accused him of crimes against humanity and of ordering attacks on civilians after an uprising against him began in mid-February.

The Hague-based court also issued warrants for two of Col Gaddafi's top aides - his son Saif al-Islam and intelligence chief Abdullah al-Sanussi.

Thousands of people are believed to have been killed in the conflict.

The arrest warrants refer to early weeks of the uprising, from 15 February until "at least 28 February".

It seems strange that Western Governments were so keen to drop bombs on Libya to save civilian lives but seems much less interested in providing medicine . . . I wonder if the "Defence" industry is more effective at flogging their weapons of destruction than the Health industry is at promoting the provision of medical assistance . . . :confused:

cool story bro its all so laughable to i need to post? its obvious what has happened and its what i said.
first we were going to save the civlians but onlt the ones in libyas third largest city the rest of the country doesnt count because they sided with gaddafi.
now everyone who talks about libya on TV says gaddafi must go we wont stop until our objective is complete...
erm pardon me the un resolution doesnt say he has to go anywhere... does anyone remember what they used to tell us? other human rights groups have said most of the so called charges have no evidence.

btw on the gore websites theres a video of a woman in a libya hospital who was gang raped by rebels, they have slashed all of her face and body up.
how come non of the news websites report about her? the rebels are dirty rapist scumbags doing exactly what they claim the libyans on gaddais side are suposedly doing.

both sides are atleast as bad as each other we shouldnt be suporting either side we should be forcing peace not giving rebels the hope and supplies they need to carry on fighting
 
So the west want Gadaffi out.. Creates a humanitarian crisis by bombing the country to pieces and giving large amount of ammunition to untrained civilians and says its saving lives.. And we are all meant to believe this?????


As for the Sri Lankan situation, everyone knew how bad it was, but no one seems to care. Bit like Rwanda, may be in another 10 years someone will get a little telling off like, ‘Don’t do it again’.


Moral of the story, Human life means nothing to those in power, doing everything to remove people who don't go along with your rule is all that maters.

You are a fool if you believe Nato is on a humanitarian mission.
