Hi there

Car is going into Porsche on Friday for extended warranty, whilst I am waiting I shall be test driving the much talked about Cayman R. :D

Could be a bad idea if I find it a better drive than the 911, but I just have to know for myself. :)

Though I do admit even if it is better I doubt I could change the 911 for one as I love the way the 911 feels with the engine out back.

It is a better drive but it aint a better car, be happy with what you got.

Very happy with what I've got, but I love cars and well I'd rather be driving a Cayman R than sitting in the dealership for 2hrs, drinking all their pop and eating all their biscuits, instead I'll go for burning their petrol. :)

Im just saying it does drive better than yours without any doubt at all, but ists got no back seats, dont look as good and generally aint worth you blowing your brains out buying one :)

Well no back seats is good, means no one ask for a lift. :D

Just curious to see how the best Cayman feels to drive especially now I am getting used to how the 911 handles and some of the serious advantages to having the engine over the back wheels.

I imagine it will be exceptional, but sadly I also expect it could be even more epic. Imagine a Cayman R with the RS4.0 engine in it, really, just think about that!

your opinion dont count cos you know how to drive and you aint a porker :D

Nice, this is one of the perks about getting stuff done at main dealers.

PS: this thread makes me feel light at 16 stone!
