Im usually a live and let live person but its really beginning to irritate me now.

Theres a young woman next door who at all hours usually 6am - 12am sings really loudly the same song usually over and over again and plays music really loudly.

The walls are quite thin and for 18 months now ive been concious not to make noise i always use my headphones when i listen to music, play games or watch tv but next door doesnt have the same considerations.

Is there anything i can do about it, i understand they have the right to do whatever they want but listening to her squeal out songs is making me wanna kill myself, i dont wanna be a **** and confront them about it or leave a note.

Why on earth would you have gone on for 18 months without saying anything, and why is telling them about it being a ****? Maybe she doesn't realise how thin the walls are if you've always made a real effort not to make any noise?

Maybe play some music loudly and if she hears it, it may make her realise how thin the walls are.

But I would just go talk to her - it doesn't have to be confrontational.

i feel for you. i live in a bottom flat and have had trouble with my neighbours. i plucked up the courage to say to them (took me a few months!)
it kind of worked. but i rent and can say to the landlord.
if it's your own house, i would say to them, be nice about it. say it's keeping you awake, tell a few porkies, and ask them to tone it down a little, not asking them to stop
if it continues go the official route with the police and council. could take a while though so start asap

As with any issue with the female species, it can be resolved by knocking on her door, then when she opens it start crying with your weenie in hand.

Then run past her, grab the ****ing CD player and lob it oot the window.

Do a dance, then leave moonwalking.....

Deny all knowledge of having ever went to her door, wear a suit for the next week to look presentable.

You don't live in burnley on rosehill rd do you, and she sings beyonce songs? If so I had to put up with that cow for 3 years.

As i said im a live and let live kind of guy and i was new to the street didnt want to ruffle any feathers and after a while i just carried on putting up with it.

I wouldnt appreciate someone coming up to me saying you make too much noise can you be quiet and i wouldnt be impersonal and just stick a note through the door. I dunno what i was asking for really when i posted i just wanted somewhere to vent.

If you own the house and planning to live there longterm then I would look at sound insulation.
Or just have a word with her over the garden fence.
