Ok - some background info;
I use a Gillette Sensor razor. I've Had it for ages. I replace the head/blades as the wear out. I've always been happy with the shave I've got from it.
Fast-forward to today. Mrs Quink buys a female electric shaver. She is a bit reluctant to try it so I say "Give it here". I then proceed to stroke the new electric shaver over my cheek.
"Brgrggrrrrrrrrr"
"There, easy" I say, but am amazed at how much hair the damn thing has managed to get from my cheek!!
I don't hair up fast, but this thing seemed to get hairs I never knew were there
I'd had a shave a few hours earlier too.
I then used her new shaver to do my upper lip and compared it to my wet shave. The only way to get a similar smoothness was to wet shave against the grain. OUCH!
Looking at a few reviews of men's electric shavers, some minus points seem to be that it's not as close as a wet shave. I'd say this lady shave gives better results than my razor
. Am I so behind the times that my razor is totally obsolete, or can a decent electric shaver give better results than my old Gillette Sensor!!

Pros and cons guys, if you please, and some alternatives
