Well i must say i am very impressed with the fast way these guys deal with a faulty part. I bought a system 2 mths ago and when into the second week my blu ray cd/dvd drive stopped working. I sent it back and within 3 days i recieved a new one. Well done Overclockers!!
Quality service in these hard times

Didn't it used to be a rule (that was only enforced when the subject was negative, same as the competitor rule which isn't enforced when a competitor's getting slagged off :p)?

It did, before there was a CS forum. That rule died a long time ago.

Didn't they always usually waive the no shop talk rule if it was a compliment anyway?

they seem to waive a lot of rues. Especially these:

Quoting the names or contact details of competitors
Offering to provide the names or contact details of competitors
Hinting about product availability at competitors and their pricing
Using the forums to notify a member of intent or actual supply of names or contact details of competitors
Posting links to or the mentioning of auction sites
Disguising attempts to do any of the above

However, I think it's good that they aren't ridiculously tight on these things. Would probably have left the forums a long time ago if they had been stringent on them
