Tints...Yay or Nay?

Hi, its the kind of question that only brings about personal taste answers. It's whats best for you really:

Limo black tints arent the best imo, as mentioned before best to go with smoked glass all around if you are desperate to tint at all. But its subjective.

I think a nice smoke tints would work well on your car...

tints are personal taste.....but I think they be good on your Yaris

your car and all that ;-)

Some cars look good with light tints. The new BMW 5 M Sport does.
I'd never spec it if I bought new, and I would think twice about buying one with tints :p

I notice a lot of cars have them now, are you a fan of them?

I don't have it on my car and I don't think it needs to unless I am doing it for looks but part of me like to have it, but another part of me thinks it looks bad.

Then again, its not permanent and I don't think it's that expensive? It's just a sheet of plastic isn't it?

Are you a drug dealer? No!
Then don't fit tints. :p

They only suit specific types of cars and hatchbacks certainly aren't one of them.

If you really feel like revealing yourself of £150+ give it to me :D.

Actually, just think about that for a second. £150 for what is effectively a sticker on your windows. Robbery!

depending on the car it can look very good. get some pictures of examples

He's got a Yaris. Not knocking the car at all, but it ain't going to suit 100% light reflecting gangsta tints no matter how you try and butter it up.

On a 4 door mid-large saloons = All day long.
On a 2 door coupes = Case by case basis.
On Anything else = Gay.
On a Hatchback = Full on Graeme Norton/Elton John hybrid gay.

RLs car in the not too distant future

Its a slippery slope. First its the tints. Then the 30" sub. Then its lowering springs and then BAM! You're in a McDonalds car park blasting dub-step in your hatchback made of 83% fibreglass and surrounded by under aged teenage girls.

...

Actually, that doesn't sound too bad as it goes :D.

What's wrong with dubstep?

And those are so gay I actually cannot think of any particular word or phase to sum them up effectively.

I mean why? WHY!?
They're quite useful at cutting glare on rear monitors.
Good when you're watching TV or a DVD :p

I have tints, a 12" sub, lowering springs and like Dubstep.

I don't spend Saturday night in McDonalds carpark, don't have a hatchback made of 83% fibreglass (I have a saloon made of 20% filler and 50% rust :p) and have a 22 year old girlfriend (I'm 25).

Best of both worlds :D
