It's not remotely ironic. He's not molesting a kid.

Oh the ironing? To Catch a Predator host who traps sex perverts in TV stings 'caught cheating on his wife'
... by hidden cameras

It's entirely ironic that the host of a TV show that catches out morally perverse people on hidden camera, gets caught on hidden camera being morally perverse, tbh.
Problem?
Actually, it would only be ironic from a moralist perspective if he was targeting children. .
no that would be hypocritical.
Actually, no, it's ironic that he was caught by hidden camera doing something he should be doing, when he has made a career of doing exactly the same to others.
Irony. The very definition of. Right there.

No, it's quite clear what I mean. He got caught doing stuff he shouldn't be doing, when he has made a career out of catching people doing what they shouldn't be. Simples.I think you might be confusing offering sex to under-age people with having consensual sex with a person over the age of consent? As do a number of other people here. If he'd been giving moral lectures about adultery then yea, hoist by own petard etc, but he hasn't AFAIK. So there is a vast gulf between what he has been attacking and his own transgressions. Because one is illegal and the other is only immoral. And the fact that his GF is a lot younger than him is the biggest red herring of the lot: she is still WAY past the age of consent.
