iphone 4 or blackberry torch

Much as I hate to say it the iPhone is the better choice there. Though personally I would go for something like a Samsung Galaxy S 2, beats both those phones hands down.

But it depends what you want it for? What are your requirements?
 
If it has to be a choice between those two, i'd say iPhone 4 but the next generation of both handset are on the horizon so maybe you'd be better off waiting?

I had the torch and iphone4...definitely preferred the iphone4...sold my torch and got myself a Bold 9780.

The new torch2 is due out soon with better specs but i still wouldnt get one.
 
iPhone 5 or BB 9930. Torch is only an option if you feel like inflicting a bad blackberry on yourself.

Well tbh its not that bad a phone the torch is...plenty of people i see with them and happily using them. For me it was the size ie thickness, the keyboard and being a slider were my main gripes with it...other than that it was a pretty decent phone...theres far more worse phones out there than the Torch.

The new Torch2 will be better from what i have seen and heard ie the hardware specs have been bumped up and it looks like it will be slimmer than the original Torch but i wont be getting one as i have my eyes on the 9900, which will be my next BB.

Btw 9930 is the CDMA enabled version of the 9900 so highly unlikely we will see it here...its for the American/Canadian networks that still run on CDMA....dont think any of the European or UK networks are CDMA enabled so we will be getting the 9900 if anything.
 
I love my Torch if i'm honest. It is a little on the large side, but it still easily fits in my pocket. However, if I had the money, I would have chosen the iphone 4. Paying £35 a month for a toy with a built in phone seems a little extreme for me!
 
as much as it pains me, iphone4. I have a blackberry for work and it is utterly useless. I have a defy for personal use, and im more than happy with that.

Get an ipod touch then...its an iphone without the phone part:p

Tbh i own an iphone4, bought mine sim free so not locked into a contract and compared to my BB 9780...i actually prefer my BB...the iphone is a good device...i like mine and its build quality, better than the crappy plastic design of the 3GS. But for me my iphone4 serves my multimedia purposes and the games i have on it...thats where the BB fails in all honesty...the scope of apps available on the BB isnt anything compared to apple...although the apps i have on my BB are useful for me whereas the apps on the iphone4 arent so useful unless you call having games as being useful...useful for passing time i guess:p.

Now just waiting for the Bold Touch 9900 to make its debut and im probably going to ditch my iphone4 for it...again apps wise it may not be great compared to the iphone4 but tbh i hardly have that many apps on the iphone4 as it is.
