Sadly Raw for next week has already been taped...since its 4th july and all they get a slight break...I couldn't resist viewing them to find out what happens next :D

Will not say anything if nobody wants to know :p

I don't really watch wrestling but the promo was epic by CM Punk, I youtubed it. I did some searching and apparently Mcmahon said to him. Go out there and tell them why you're leaving, you can say this and this about me and then say whatever you want and we'll cut the mic when we think you have gone too far. Basically, it wasn't scripted and was all from CM Punk but Mcmahon was in control the whole way through.

Now, I will probably forget to watch next week so if you can point me in the direction of where you watched this? :D

yeah that's how I took the promo anyways...he was probably given some guidance as to what topics he could touch on, with Vince agreeing as you say to cut him off if it got too far, was an awesome promo!!!

Not watchable...will be on TV next week...

Got a link? I looked for spoilers this morning but could only find this Friday's Smackdown results
 
Certainly makes the PPV match now a foregone conclusion, not too badly handled from a storyline point of view though imo
 
I am fairly sure I could predict how it is all going to go right now but can't write it here as it would again, be a spoiler. I want to see if I am right once MITB is over. :p
 
Heard a ton of good stuff about this weeks RAW, so I grabbed a copy and, well, damn. Always loved CM Punk, he's perhaps the best promo in the WWE. And yay for DDP <3
And Shawn just kicking people, always good.

But yeah, there's not been a promo delivered that well in, well, years at least. And that he was allowed to just go on like that. Going to watch the next few weeks of RAW, hope it can keep up.
 
To be honest we need to all remember what pay per view it is...

MONEY IN THE BANK

2xWrestlers will gain MITB contracts during the PPV

CM Punk may likely win the title at MITB but no doubt he will have to face 1 or possibly 2 opponents after his match where he will no doubt lose the title before he leaves.

Vince will probably order a MITB winner to challenge Punk and then make sure he doesn't "leave" with the WWE title.

Well that's my thinking right now at the moment :p
 
del rio will win the MITB.

what i can see is exactly what you said. del rio wins the title, and we have del rio cena for SS.

punk will come back, with a new faction, including hero and claudio. possibley in a few months after he has had his rest.
 
Well seeing as people have spoiled already that CM Punk is not suspended I will say what I think will happen.

Del Rio wins MITB. Punk beats Cena. Del Rio cashes in and beats Punk straight away.

I thought this would happen for a while but now I have heard something else about next weeks RAW. Not so sure :/ If they make Cena win then they ruined it imo. Need to make people believe Punk is leaving with the belt, even for a small while.
 
Here what I hope happens. Punk leaves with the belt then wwe just create a new one. Its time for an update. Its still the Cena spinner belt without the spin. Needs an update.
 
The more I see Cena work the more I appreciate just how good other wrestlers are 'in ring'. Yes he's charismatic and good on the mic and by all accounts is the perfect company man, but he (imho) just can't tell a good story in the ring as Jim Ross used to say.

I mean take last years Undertaker/Shaun Michaels wrestlemania match. Kickouts from finishers galore and all gloriously silly before the Holy S*** moment of the jumping tombstone piledriver to end it. But the skill with which it was done showed just how awesome those 2 athletes are at what they do. Cena looks like he's acting instead of just acting and it diminishes the suspension of disbelief totally.
 
I agree, cena seems very very robotic in the ring. It does help that even if he has gone 30 mins, he doesnt seem to sweat and doesnt look beat. On raw he was put through a table, anyone one else and it looks like it hurts, they can sell it. With him it seems like he is superman and nothing affects him. No doubting his promo ability and back stage stuff, but inring I have never belived he can be beaten, or he is in any major pain, even if he wants it to look like it.
