Rank 50 now.
Took me around 450 hours to reach this point. Now just need to improve my k/d ratio :o

Might have to start with a new character (will my x3ntaur tag be erased if I start a new one?)

No it won't erase it. As long as you don't delete it. If you just create a new soldier you just get given the choice of what one to use after you log in.
 
k/d means squat tbh in bf

lows who use vehicles all the time for example like uavs ;)

any noob can hover scooping up noobs with a uav but remember its a team based game so even if you get 50 -1 and your team get zip you have achieved nothing :p

it is public gaming so its to be expected :p

best thing is if these arnt available they often get bad scores or only play attacking :p so lame . see it so often .

Ahh yes like taking out tanks, MG turrets and spotting for your team. Too many people think that all the uav for is just gunning people down, the uav can be a turning point in any match.

Did you ever consider why so many triangles start popping up when you're playing, try looking up :rolleyes:
 
I have had this game for about a week now and the single player is pretty poor but I always thought it would be, I bought it purely for the multiplayer experience but I'm really not enjoying that

It seems really unbalanced, people can kill me in 1 or 2 shots from a distance but even when I see them first I get off 1 shot then they turn around and nail me,

There is next to no hope of turning a game around, I have joined loads of servers and 90% of the time I am on the losing team and then we get steam rolled and there's nothing I can do to help,

There is such a limited arsenal it is unbelievable

The start of every match is a rush for the most powerful vehicle, and whoever is left to the least powerful loses out,

And... I'm crap at it :(

Start playing Squad Death Match, good way to get to grips with the game.

Started a new character last night... "pietard". Feel free to add me. :p

because most people use the uav to get scores without getting into battle and keep high ratios ;) i understand why but it is a low tactic :p

its worse than a sniper who camps at spawn and shoots the length of map every round
 
I don't use UAV's to get much of a score, its more a bit of a jolly, flying about a little robot with limited risk of death! Can be quite tough to get some kills and the reload time is long, but close in smoke kills from a UAV are brilliant!
 
For new players, the initial stages are quite harsh. You won't even have your class abilities to start with.

Don't worry too much about the limited arsenal - it opens up a good amount as you progress through the ranks.

I would recommend you start with Medic in Team Deathmatch - stick close to your team and machine gun people. As soon as you get access to the health kits and defib (revive downed teammates) you can really start to rake in the points (and wins) by keeping your team alive. It's the win-win situation of helping you level fast and actually being a useful team member at the same time. (just don't repeatedly res people into oncoming fire, it annoys them!)

I tend to get killed quite a lot, ill be the first to admit that im not great at this game. But it's so much fun to play it. Im not one for camping on a hill or anything like that. If your ever on the nM ocuk server, if you see some loony running after tanks with c4, good chance thatll be me.:D
 
loved playing on the nM OcuK last night, name is Nabil Hussain on there, knifed Jimlad too many times as well as Neil79 (only twice) and i also got Dg :P

Bit harsh, given that a skilled UAV operator can give your team the space to advance up the map.

Like on Isla Inocentes, final base, often the attackers will get stuck on the crest of the hill, but if you position the UAV in that little road off to the side and shoot the defenders it causes enough of a distraction to let the attackers push up.

Plus if you're on UAV simply spotting every enemy you see is a great help.
 
setter you are too harsh on yourself m8 but at least you have fun:) neil i asked darren last night he wont do res slots as he doesnt even do one for himself so theres your answer bud
 
i really hope in the next bf they ask you if you want revivng as in a option before you respawn god i hate ass faced medics that respawn you underfire just for the points actually makes me rage altho i do it to dg to rage him up :) maybe thats karma
