New PC Final List ( Hopefully )

So just before I place the order for all the listed parts, are there any final words, comments, suggestions or the like?
What do people out there think of EyeFinity, is it something anyone out there is using at the moment and if so any comments please?
Also about overclocking. I have never done it before, does this system and it's components show promise for overclocking?
Will I need any extra cooling other than that which is supplied with the CPU Heatsink, Case Fans, GPU Coolers and so on?
Just some final words before I take the plunge, a not to small plunge I hasten to add.

So I want to be sure that.

(A) Do I have all the correct components?
(B) Do I need any extra cooling?
(C) What are the likely figures I could achieve from overclocking?
(D) Am I doing the right thing building this myself has a first time builder? & finally.
(E) What do people think about 3D, because even though it was not something I asked for, it appears I will have it?

I await your comments with eager anticipation.

The bundle is already overclocked at a little over the common 4.5GHZ that people get out of these CPU's, but it will still go higher im sure, but the warranty will be affected.

A) yes,
B) No, the case is outstanding!!!
C) ? you wont need to OC any higher.
D) yes, money saved, any questions during the build just ask.

Edit.

E) ATI dont do 3D gaming very well(with 3D glasses), you will have the wrap around effect of three screens(Eyefinity) and the benefit of 120HZ screens giving you a more fluid motion.

Hi Stulid.

I think what I am saying in a round about way is. If you had two and a half grand to spend on a pc, would it be anything like this one?

Oh. and thank you for answering all my questions. I'm glad I don't have to mess with overclocking and I certainly wouldn't want to affect the warranty.

EDIT.

Good I didn't fancy sitting for hours wearing those 3D glasses, and I believe they can affect some people.

Me personally? I would stick this best single screen in it I could, such as a 27" IPS panel.

Then I could save £50 by just using normal ATI 6950 2GB cards and not needing FLEX versions to get Eyefinity.

I think another thing I haven't taken into consideration is, how much room do you need for 3 Monitors (EyeFinity) set-up. My desk is 6 feet wide.

EDIT.

What's the GTX570/580 thing?

Yes,

My desk is 4.5ft, I have a 24" screen, a 23" screen and my massive ATCS840 case on it.

They are all next to each other and there are still a few gaps between them, 3 screens in Eyefinity will have the outside pair angled inwards making the foot print less wide.

Stulid.

Could i ask a big favour please? Could you do a list comprising what you are saying about a single monitor (27") different card or cards that sort of thing because you got me thinking now. Do i need all this EyeFinity CrossFireX malarcky. So if you can find some time I would really appreciate your take on things.

It would indeed, but The £50 saved from only needing normal 6950 2GB cards, selling one or both games, and you can cut down the PSU to a 750W.

The Samsung screen is reviewed here - http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/monitors/display/samsung-sa950.html

And there are a few Hazro threads in the monitor section to check out,

I have allways wondered if getting myself a 3 monitor set up would be worth it as i don't just game on my pc. If you want to watch films/TV then you can only use one monitor so i think next time i come to upgrade my monitor (24" digimate) i think i will go for a 27" or maybe 30" as it would suit my needs better than 3 smaller screens of which 2 would only be used maybe 30% of the time.

If you do go for one of those Hazro 27" monitors then be careful as i think there are 2 versions, one is a glossy screen and one is a matt screen. Depending on where your monitor will be placed i.e. opposite a window, then you will get reflections on a glossy screen.

Hi Kingy666.

I am beginning to doubt the wisdom of a three monitor set-up myself. Yes I like to play games but that is probably 20% to 25% of the time. The rest is split between browsing, watching TV, download and creating discs. I think that Stulid is right, i think i will invest in a Dell 27" Monitor. Makes more sense on reflection. I'd still like good quality Graphics, either one or two cards, whichever you guys persuade me is best.
