And he needs V-Rating, so he is pretty much stuck with P-Zeros at £165ish or Falkens at £73ish a corner (Toyos are @£80ish)

That appears to be the most retarded tyre size ever. I'd just get something else and live with any potential problems

Falken
proxes
hankook
Nexen lol

ice also been offered a full mint set of wheels with 95% new rears and 1/3worn fronts all falkens for just over 200 shipped which is tempting as my wheels aren't perfect and these are close to being.

Hi, I have Falken 912's on the front of my remapped mondeo, so far they've outlasted the mileage the original Conti's lasted for which was no longer than 7k. Some say they're wheelspin city but I don't find that at all, the grip in the wet is fine and under heavy braking too.

Fox is right though, tracks are often worse for standing water.

Yes there was a lot of standing water in sections, that photo I posted above isn't the worst of it but bad enough that there isn't just a shadow on the ground but a clear reflection as well, if a track is just 'wet' you don't get a reflection like that.

Try finding decent tyres for 13 x 7" wheels. Cut slicks, track day tyres, and that's about your lot.
