I don't know, it's odd, so I am critical of the reports to be honest. Will have to see if I can get more reliable gen when I go to work next.

Yeh im still a bit sceptical about the fact that he just wondered out of camp in the middle of helmand. Surely the guards would have said something.

If he is on foot he couldn't have walked far from the FOB so you would have thought they could find him, especially with use of airborne assets. However, if the FOB is in the middle of a busy area he could have been picked up :\

As for wandering off on foot, he shouldnt be too hard to find, and besides I find that highly unlikely unless the Soldier has an underlying ptsd or stress issue.

That wouldn't surprise me, ANA are so corrupt. There are so many stories and whispers about this I don't know what to believe.

My hearts pounding right now, a friend of mine is in the Marines and had talked about going swimming. Don't want to contact his family in case they havnt heard anything and needlessly worry them. Most probably a big coincidence, he's due back in 2 weeks
