Guys,

I bought a new machine last christmas and giving the ammount I spent on hardware I didnt have enough money left for a decent graphics card. So ive been using an old 5700GT in it until..

Now im experiencing artifacts on screen and display driver keeps crashing. Ive ran Memtest in case it was a memory issue and the memory is fine.

So Im looking for a new card but dont wana spend mega money. Im thinking £150 max.

Can anyone share which they think is the best card to go for, for £150. Must be Nvid :D

p.s ocuk links would be appreciated, and a few of you to concur also :D

Many Thanks,

Rob

That's exact one I got, won't be disappointed for sure, easily OC with afterburner to the gtx 560ti and above with it

Because out of the 9800 Pro and a 5970 ive owned. They both sucked ass.. NVidia is better. Better drivers.. no jitter during gameplay.. ATI is not as smooth

Just my thoughts..

I've not had any major issues myself with ATI, though I have heard similar to what you're saying more often than when the other way round; e.g. when criticisms are aimed at nVidia. However, I am surprised that you had such a poor experience with regard to the 9800 Pro. That's a shame since that was one of ATI's best cards.
