Guidance on changing air filter to Pug 207 1.6 Diesel (56)

Can someone help me walk through changing my air filter plzzzzzzzzzzz??

i'm about to buy a k&n air filter but having looked under the bonnet, i'm not sure where to start! Googling hasn't brought up much.

please help? thanks!

General consensus is not to bother with a K&N btw

Air filter goes in the box on the right

Should be some clips or something I'd imagine to open it up. Might even say in your manual

Box on the right is the battery. The air filter is at the back of the engine and you will need some 4mm allen keys to open it up.

Anyway, thanks all who replied.

It doesn't have to be a K&N one .. in fact, i might just pick up a standard one from my halfords before i get home and attempt to change it.

I've been told by the stealers that my air filter is really dirty and because i do so many miles in my diesel, it's probably worth looking after it as i'm planning to keep it for a few years.

thanks for giving me an idea as to where it might be Will report back with any success.. hopefully someone else might find it useful.

Diesel air filters do get much dirtier much faster thanks to the vastly higher air quantity they have to sort out.
