Pretty interesting read. Hugh Grant manages to record an ex-paparazzi talking about the phone-hacking that went on.

He makes an interesting point with;

"Are you comfortable that the only people who can listen in to you now are - is it MI5 or MI6?"

Papers = scum. Why people buy them is beyond me! I'd rather stare at toilet roll. Used toilet roll.

Nope. The paps would be off to the courts citing invasion of privacy and getting orders against any publishing of their details.

I hate myself for reading anything related to the paparazzi. I don't like what they do and want no part in it but when I read something like this, "One of the early stories was [and here he names a much-loved TV actress in her sixties] used to be a street walker - whether or not she was, but that's the tip, a part of me desperately wants to know who this MLTVA is.

The voicemail stuff is just people not using a secure PIN for remote access to their inbox iirc

It's only normally four digits and it wouldn't likely take that long to get there given there are only so many combinations for four numbers.
